I had the pleasure of attending the sports day in Sri Lalitha Vidhalaya School. Children from Sri Sharadha Nursery & Primary School had also participated in the event.
Initially, when I entered the premises, I thought it would be a regular sports day like in most other schools. I was wrong. The march past was pretty nice with the children well dressed. Then the energetic sports events started where even the teachers were displaying equal energy like the students. Hundreds of parents who had attended the event were equally excited. It was very interesting.
Then came the special events which were quite exceptional. Especially yoga and karate. But the one which I remember the most is where the students with the help of the teachers where showing their skills as a team. The one where they were dressed up as flowers was very pretty.
And the most innovative event among all was when the students & teachers had designed a rocket & used balloons to make it fly in honor of our late president Dr. Abdul Kalam. It was fantastic. Kudos to that team!!!
The entire event was a very memorable. I’ve never seen so much energy in a sports day. Congrats to the organizers & the management. Very well done.
