International Yoga Day
The Function was inagurated by Mr.M.Prabhu (Deputy collector of thoothukudi district).
Then Yoga started with Guru Sthothiram.One of the member of Vivekananda Kendra Conducted the asanas
Many schools participated in this yoga day function. While performing the asanas he explained about the benefits of doing it side by side.
The events was organized in a great manner. Here they issued certificates for the participants and shield to their school.
Finally, the event ended very happily with their provided breakfast and water.

GURU POORNIMA CELEBRATION
We celebrated the Guru Poornima on 22nd July 2024.The festival was inaugurated by Mrs.Subadra vetrivel, Correspondent of Sri Lalitha Vidhyalaya.
First the celebration started with a prayer song.Srinithi of class VIII Gave the welcome address.
A Speech about Guru Poornima in Tamil and English was given by Sankavi of class VI and Muthulakshmi of class VIII.
After that teachers and students got blessings from subadra mam and all the students got blessing from their teachers.
Finally, Chidambaram of class VIII delivered the vote of thanks and then sweets were distributed to all the children and the celebration ended very happily.

Aadi Perukku,Environment Day Celebration
On 3rd August we celebrated Aadi perukku as environment day.
First the ceremony started with a prayer song and poojas were performed at the temple.
All our students and teachers wore green colour dress. The students of class VII and class VIII gave a speech with a little story of the origination of river Cauvery and the importance & celebration of Aadi perukku day
Seeds were given the students along with the teachers, all the students planted the seeds in the field area. After that sweets (chocolates) were given to all.
After Planting the seeds, Quiz competition were conducted between the house teams in the auditorium.
The winner of this Quiz competition is red team (Cauvery).

INDEPENDENCE DAY
On 15th August we celebrated 78th Independence Day in our school campus.
Students came to school at 8.30 am.Our school students Nalla Nilesh of X th std carried the flag to the pole. The National flag was hoisted by our principal Mrs.Bhavani Hariraman.
Students and teachers took the pledge said by Nalla nilesh of class X.
Welcome speech was given by Miss ponmani and our students performed a Role play about “The struggle of freedom”.Voteof thanks given by Mrs.Sangeetha kala
Finally the event ended by distributing sweets to all.And the school dispersed by playing National Anthem.

GOKULASHTAMI
We celebrated Gokulashtami in our school.All the arrangements for this celebration made by Green house teachers.
Students wear colour dress and requested to bring some snacks for the puja.
And the KG Students were asked to dress up like little krishna’s and cute Radha’s.
Finally Pooja was held to get the blessings of Lord Krishna.Event ended by vote of thanks given by sujith menon ( class V) At last snacks were distributed as prasadham to all students.

CBSE TRAINING PROGRAM
Capacity Building program for Teacher’s
We conducted a capacity building program in our school campus.First the event or program started with a prayer song and through the welcome speech given by Mrs.Raja Kumari.
Mrs.Promaadha mam and Mrs.Alaya mam are the resource persons who came to give us training on the particular topic including our school teachers more than 50 teachers from various institutions attended this trsining program.
First session started by a enthusiastic song the session given by Mrs.Alaya mam.
The next half session before lunch was conducted by Mrs.Pramaadha mam.As she is a principal of a institution. She used a real stories or incidents held in her school to make the topic clear.
The final session was again with Mrs.Alaya mam. A hand book was given to us with some activities we were guided to do that things.

VINAYAGAR CHATHURTHI
We celebrated Vinayagar Chathurthi in our school.All the arrangements for this celebration were made by yellow house teachers. The celebration was started by a prayer song and welcome speech given by Nikhitha of class V
Harisakthi of class V and pon Lakshmanan of class IV hosted the program. Tamil speech given by Hari nagaraj of class III And an English conversation were delivered by Muthuvalli of classVIII and Manju sri of class VIII.
Our students of class II ,III and IV performed birth of lord ganesha through a skit. The story was narrated by Ashika of class VII and Muthulakhmi of class VIII.
A Classical dance for Ganapathy song was performed by our students of class V VI and VII.
Our students of class IX & X performed the rituals.Our correspondent mam Mrs.Subathra Vetrivel sang some Vinaryagar slogans and manthras.
Finally the celebration was ended by vote of thanks given by Keshav raja, class V Prasadham was distributed to all.

DIWALI CELEBRATION
We celebrated diwali in our school campus.All teachers & students The celebration started by a prayer song.
Welcome speech was given by Sri ram of X std MC of the act was given by Subiksha of X std
English speech on why we are celebrating diwali & history of its origin was given by Muthumalai of X std.
Tamil sopeech on diwali’s purana story & ethics and about its celebration was given by Aniths and Durga devi of X std.
Our students of class VII , IX and X performed a mime act on “Safety while bursting crackers”.
Finallyn poojai was held to get the blessing and the celebration was ended by distributing sweets to all students.

On chlidren’s day we conducted fancy drees competition among our students. The event started by a prayer song.
Our students participated in the fancy dress competition and performed on the given topics class wise.

The celebration and the competition ended by a National anthem.

Navarathri Celebration
We celebrated navarathri function in our School In our auditorium We kept Golu and pooja were held for the nine days of Navarathri to get the blessings of Goddess Durga devi.
In our Golu we kept five placed in order steps and all idols tuere se Palso kept some auspicious idols (or) Set ups like,
* Meenakshi amman pattabischaga
६ Thiru kalyanam
* Six temples of Murugan.
* Ashtalakshmi…
* Navagrahas.
* Dasavatharam of Lord Vishnu
* Alwars….. and so on
In this year Concept or theme based on which includes, we made a main Ramesh waram
* ‘Pamban Bridge
* APJ Abdul Kalam Mandapam
* Ramanathaswamy Temple
* Ramar patham Temple.
*Dhanushkodi.
Every day ie, on Navarathri function pooja nine days of were held each hday one or two teachers will bring prasadham for pooja and that is distributed to all the students and teachers
On the last day of this function we invited all our parents to visit our School Golu.
At last our Navarathri celebration ended with joy with our parents , teachers and students.
